Will Suhru Wines be Changing?

Yes and No. Everything that you know and love about Suhru Wines will be staying the same—our commitment to quality, hospitality, personal connection and wine education remain unchanged. We look forward to continuing to grow Suhru Wines in conjunction with Lieb Cellars to create improved experiences and wider availability of the wines you know and love.

The Suhru Wines Tasting House, located at 28735 Main Road in Cutchogue, will continue in operation through September 2024 moving to one consolidated tasting room with Lieb Cellars on Oregon Road in Fall of 2024.

I love Lieb Cellars, is it going to Change?

Yes and No. Some change is inevitable as we begin the blending of the two brands, however the key values and quality of Lieb wines will be unchanged. The Lieb Cellars tasting room will operate exactly as it does now, through the end of 2023 and starting in 2024 Suhru Wines will be introduced to Oregon Road, and Bridge Lane Wines will no longer be sold on Oregon Road.

The Lieb Cellars Tasting Room will be closed for a brief Holiday Break January 1, 2024 - January 4, 2024 and will reopen on Friday, January 5, 2024 for regular service and the scheduled Winter Music Series.

We look forward to continuing to grow both Lieb Cellars and Suhru Wines in the years to come and welcome your input, comments & suggestions. Feel free to email them to info@suhruwines.com.

What Happens to my Wine Club?

Don’t worry—all Club Members will be able to remain members of their current wine club, with a few small upgrades (that we hope you’ll love) coming in the New Year. All Wine Club Members of the Suhru Wines and Lieb Cellars Wine Club will remain members of their respective clubs. Current Club members will have the option (it will not be required) to move to a New Club with access to wines under both labels in early 2024.

For any specific questions or concerns, please feel free to email shelby@suhruwines.com who will be happy to discuss this further.

Will the Wines be Changing?

There will be some changes, yes, but not as many as you might think. Russell Hearn has been winemaker at Lieb Cellars for over 30 years and winemaker for Suhru Wines since its start in 2008 which means if you love Suhru you are bound to love Lieb and vice versa! So nothing to fear on that front!

Will I still be able to find Suhru and/or Lieb in my local Wine Shop?

Yes! Both Suhru Wines and Lieb Cellars will continue to be sold into the wine shops and restaurants you know and love. We hope to expand distribution to make finding both Suhru & Lieb all that much easier for you in the future.

What about Shipping—can I still get my favorite Suhru and/or Lieb wines shipped to me?

Yes and starting in 2024 you can even get them shipped to you together if you want—how cool is that?! Shipping available to 40+ states nationwide.

If the Suhru Wines Team purchased Lieb, does that mean Bridge Lane Wine too?

No, Bridge Lane Wine, while historically the sister winery of Lieb Cellars, is its own entity starting January 1, 2024. The Bridge Lane Tasting Room is located at 35 Cox Neck Road in Mattituck, NY. Russell Hearn will continue to be the winemaker of Bridge Lane Wine as he always has, but moving forward Bridge Lane will be completely separate from Lieb Cellars.
